What’s a diopter?

If you look on your camera you may notice a funny little knob or switch next to your viewfinder. That is a diopter. It adjusts and compensates for your vision. If your view through the viewfinder isn't so sharp, try adjusting this knob. It's a really great thing to have, especially for those of us who need glasses, but can't use them looking through the viewfinder. Adjusting the setting does not affect the sharpness of your photos. However, it could help you take better pictures because you can see where the focal point of your photo actually is, and how sharp it is, especially for those close in shots where you might be pushing the abilities of your camera.

    1. Keep it simple so that people don’t have to look hard for the information they want. Basically that’s it. There’s a lot of great info out there to learn design, but mostly remember that not everyone has a fast connection, so keep them in mind. Also, check your webpage in multiple browsers to check if it’s consistent. Have fun!
